About Me

I'm a Texan. Born and raised in Texas, I have found a hobby or so to speak, a trade that I enjoy doing. That is working with metal, wood work and even combining the two. Growing up with a construction background; I was in the third grade when my father taught me how to weld, ever since I have been welding and creating projects just for the heck of it. Along the way I have had the advantage of learning little tricks of the trade my father passed down to me, which was passed down to him. The main key my father taught me was quality and craftsmanship. As my father says to this day; “If you are going to build something half ass, you might as well not even build it at all”.

As time passed trying to perfect my skills, I finally got the opportunity to show off my creativity in the local Ag mechanic show. My first project was a BBQ pit that was designed for the back patio as well as taking to the river. If I was not, occupied with school or working. I was at the river fishing and camping. I won the show hands down and ever since have been customizing pits for people in the local area. The last three years of high school, I decided to step it up a notch and design furniture. Working with wood I found a little more complicated, due to the lack of the right tools at the time, and knowledge. With a little research I was able to work around it and produce some of the most unique rustic furniture. Since my father needed a gun cabinet, I decided to start with this project as a learning experience. The 12-gun, gun cabinet turned out great. Soon after I came up with a coffee table design, since I was moving to college and have been building them on the side to help make my way through college.

I usually work with cedar because there is so many ways to make each piece unique or different than the last. Each board is hand selected from Myers Cedar Yard and Crafted by my own ideas or customized to personal preference.
